What Cause Of Blood Clot In Urine At The Age Of 8 Years ?

hi , my 8 years old daugther has a burning sensation while urinating ,,,and a little blood clot came out ,,,I thought maybe it is due to her riding the bicycle for the first time ,,,but I am worried it may be a urinary infection ..should I hurry to the emergency ?

Hi,
As there is blood clot while passing urine and there is h/o cycle riding for the first time suggests that she might have slight injury in urethra resulting burning urine and passing blood clot.
You consult your doctor.

well it looks like she is indeed having a urinary tract infection it would be better to take her to a doctor and get some tests to confirm the same and start her on medications. urinary tract infections if left untreated in children could cause complications.
