What Caused A Bald Spot On My Baby Girl's Head?

Hi, my baby girl has one bald spot about the size of a £2 coin on the back of her head, it's always slightly pink coloured, never changes colour and is slightly raised, it's quite solid, just feels like the rest of her head, she has quite a bit of hair on her head but this spot is still bald, what could it be?

Hi...the possibilities include a fungal infection or an alopecia areata. But as you say it is raised, it seems to be fungal infection and may need even oral antifungal drug like Voriconazole. I suggest you consult a dermatologist as it can get secondarily infected without proper treatment and it can spread too.
