What Caused Burning Feeling In Abdomen While Holding Back Urine And Swelling In Vaginal Lips?

I had the urge to pee back in the office but since we were about to go i ignored it, the urge went away. We stopped by to eat breakfast and afterwards had the urge to pee again. I held my pee for about 2-3 mibs since someone was using the bathroom. I held it and i had this burning feeling in my lower abdomen, when it was my turn i was unable to pee and the pain intensified. It felt like something from inside my uterus was being pulled out. My vaginal lips was swollen and sore and the pain radiated back to my anus. It happened before but it only lasted for a few minutes. This time itd already hours but the pain is still there. Should I see the doctor? What caused this??

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely a cystocele.It can be ruled out by a physical examination by urologist or a gynecologist.A voiding cystourethrogram might be necessary to visualize the condition.If it is in mild or moderate stage then avoiding overstraing and using of pessaries may help. Pessary is a device placed in the vagina to hold the bladder in place.Only a large cystoceles or the one which is troublesome even after all conservative measures need surgical repair.Hope this may help you.
