Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your symptoms gives suspection to a deep vein thrombosis. As you are in a risk group of getting that it should be ruled out as soon as possible.Doppler study or venography and D dimer test is usually done to rule out this.Thrombolytics and blood thinners are given for DVT.Compression stockings will help in preventing further thrombosis also.Complications like pulmonary embolism are common after this.So you should approach your orthopedician or ER as soon as possible.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks
