What Causes Achilles Tendon To Be Sore With Sprained Ankle?

I have sprained my ankle 4 times. Only twice did I get a brace. However, the other times I simply allowed it to heal on its on. I started working out more frequently 6 months ago and now more Achilles tendon seems to be sore. I checked that area and now there is a black spot on it

Hello,
It could be a sprain.
As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.
You can also apply icepacks for symptomatic relief.
In severe cases an MRI has to be taken to rule out tendon or ligament injury.
