What Causes Crohn S Disease While Taking Pentasa?

Hello,I am 19 years old and was diagnosed with Crohns Disease about 2 months ago and started taking 8 Pentasa pills a day. I have stopped having so many bowel movements however I still do not feel well. I have been taking birth control for about 2 years now and was reading online that birth control pills can cause Crohns Disease. I have been thinking of quitting birth control to see how if i feel any better however I am not sure if I should.Thank you.

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your diagnosed Crohn disease following intake a birth control pills and a prescription of pentasa I will suggest the crohn disease is caused by the contraceptive pills

In view of this I will will advise you to schedule an appointment with your physician for possible re-evaluation of your contraceptive method so as to facilitate effective spectrum of the pentasa for you crohn disease treatment
