What Causes Irregular Brown Menstrual Bleeding?
Hi I just finished my period February 20th I am not having 5 out of 10 on a scale bleeding. The blood is brown and I am also having cramps like it is my period but it comes and goes for the past 3 days this has been happening. I take birth control pill and missed a couple days a few days ago but I started taking it regularly again 2 days ago and the brown bleeding almost got worse. What is happening?

Hi,
It can happen normally and will settle by itself.
If persists better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated to rule out conditions like bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection as they can also cause similar symptoms. A vaginal swab may be required in that case.
