PCOD occurs due to varied reasons mainly because of unhealthy eating habits, gaining more weight, less exercise.
This all lead to alteration the hormons like LH, FSH.
Also in PCOD due to alteration in hormones periods are delayed for long time and in between there is scanty bleeding. This occurs because the uterine lining does not grow well in thickness as the levels of hormones are altered.
There is no ovulation which is occuring.
The best way to avoid all this problem is by adapting to healthy life style which include having more of green leafy vegetables, salads, drinking plenty of oral fluids, doing regular exercise.
