What Causes Primolut-N To Be Ineffective In Managing Heavy Periods?
Hi! I have PCOS and after losing 30kg, my period has started again. I have been bleeding for over a month, and it has been so incredibly heavy at times. My doctor prescribed Primolut N for 10 days, and I am on the last day of the script but I am still bleeding and it is becoming heavy again. I have an appointment for next week with my doctor again, but is there a reason that the Primolut hasn t been successful?
You haven't mentioned the dosage you were taking and your BMI. Ideally, it should stop with proper dosage. You can continue the tablet if bleeding persists. But you need to confirm the dosage with your gynecologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
