Hi, I was worried because semen comes out after I pee...not always, but quite a few times in the last year and a half or so. Just wondering if it is due to a traffic accident I was in about a year and a half ago or if it is something else? Doctors don't seem to think it is anything and had said it was probably due to the muscle relaxants I was on at the time...but that was only for about a month...way back then!? Could it be something else? STD? I doubt it but one never knows I guess?? Very confused...please help shed some light on this matter. It's clear semen that comes out after I pee...not lots but enough just the same...it's like I have this unvoluntary feeling that shows up in my groin area which alerts me to notice that this is happening. Thanks for your prompt reply.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* As per my surgical experience, this is the DHATU discharge per urethra which is the prostatic secretion with seminal vesicle fluid content when there is retention of sperms inside the vesicles.
* In our clinic, after evaluating the urine microscopy I decide for the final line of management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
