i am a 49 year old female.3 episodes of uti in 40 days.fatigue,decreased appetite,weight loss since 40 days.diagnosed to have type 2 diabetes 20 days back.sugars not controlled on metformin so currently on glucored(had hypoglycemia with glucored forte).treated for uti with ofloxacin and cefixime..........hb 9.3 ,esr 130,crp 12
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have diabetes and it is most common cause of urinary tract infection. You should control your sugar first. Metformin or glibenclemide like drugs are helpful. If needed you can use insulin. For urinary tract infection levofloxacin or norfloxacin is used. Drink plenty of water.
