Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to vasculitis or local inflammation.

For this reason, it is important performing some tests in order to investigate for the possible causes:

- a bump ultrasound in order to examine this tissue
- inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR)
- biopsy may be needed.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
