Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a bump or lump on the side of my index at the first joint. It’ s hard, sensitive and warm. I thought it was a bone bruise but, it’s growing slowly. Also I have a lump in the palm that is tender and cording growing. Thank you. XXXX
It could be a benign (non-cancerous) swelling like an osteoma or bone cyst. Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. If there is diagnostic confusion an MRI may be required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
