What Causes A Bulge On The Anterior Fontanelle?

my new born has bulg on her anterior fontanel and everything else with her is fine it is on her right back side it has bin there since she was born and it never changes in size never goes up or down and the bone on one of the sides is smooth but it feels like it swoops out ward a little

Hi... Since how many days is the swelling present? Also mention the mode of delivery. It can be caput or cephalhematoma. If it slides freely and if you are able to feel it beyond suture lines then it can be caput. It subsides on its own.
