What Causes A Dent On The Cheek Bone Of My Child?

Sir, my 5 month daughter is having small visible dent on the right cheek near the ear & it is from the birth...but nowdays with the growing stage ,dent is more visible if you see from the front dent will not appear but from the side view you can see the cavity of this dent which looks the face uneven of my small baby kidly advise if it is cheekbone problem or tissue problem or anything else...if you had experience of similiar case as above kindly advise

Hello,

It may be preauricular sinus or jaw malposition or delivered by forceps may cause some depression on the side etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please show to your pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
