What Causes A Fluttery Feeling In Gastrointestinal Track?

I have been experiencing a fluttery feeling in my gastrointestinal track. It can be in my throat, chest or in my abdominal area. It seems to occur in the late afternoon, evening and when I am trying to sleep at night. I have not changed medications, caffeine intake or anything else that I could think might create this sensation. Any thoughts?
