Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question. I can appreciate your concern about your son. I would like to know some more details from your side that has he undergone any kind of blood or urine examination, is he having any kind of urinary problem, is he having abdominal pain or so, would also like to know the nature of fever in terms of high or low grade, frequency, etc.
If you can come up with all those details, then i can guide you in the right direction.
But nevertheless, i would like to advise you to do blood CBC, PS for MP, urine routine and micro examination and sputum examination. And above all, you need to do blood culture examination and find out the bacilli and find out the sensitivity of drugs.
Because from all your details, i guess that your son might have infection, which is resistant to the antibiotics that he had taken.
So all and all, you need to be more cautious and do all the tests that i have suggested and go for the antibiotics, which is sensitive to that bacilli.
Hope this much guidance from my side will be very useful to treat your son in right direction and i wish that he will get well soon.
I find this answer helpful
