Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good day Doctor ,, I hope you have a good day, I have a mass on my left shoulder blade, a doctor told me it is a Lipoma, but I am afraid if this thing is not.. I don't see any dramatic change in size of any symptoms since the first time I noticed it about 2 years ago it is the same size which is about 4-5 cm
Your swelling is of the same size for many months. So it seems to be benign soft tissue lesion.
However to rule out specific underlying cause it's advisable to investigate with simple investigation that is Fine needle aspiration cytology to rule out nature of lesion.
If FNAC report confirms a Benign tumour then no need to worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
