What Causes A Loud Pop From Head And Headache Flowed By Them?

I have a bad eye. I have been told I would lose sight in it. The other night I heard a very loud pop in my head. It was follow by a severe headache and it has not gone away. I have diabetes and high blood pressure. I take pills for both. I am not allegeric to anything.
