ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Yes , it is possible that the thyroid may be enlarged due to your hypothyroidism , which is causing the feeling of lump in your throat. However pain will not be there and presence of pain may indicate a swelling on the back of your throat. please meet your ent doctor , he will do an endoscopy on you to asses the throat and guide you further.

Thanks
