What Causes A Lump When The Wrist Is Moved In Certain Directions?

I struck the top of my hand on a doorway frame just an inch above my wrist joint. My hand hand forearm went numb and has been hurting since I hit it. There is a lump that pops if I move my wrist certain ways accompanied by dull pain. No visible bruising though. Could this be a broken bone or just nerve damage?

After going through your query I concluded that you have soft tissue injury my hand.It doesn't seems me to be a fracture or nerve injury. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief.Keep hand elevated to reduce swelling. Active finger movements reduce swelling. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your query.
