What Causes A Pimple Around The Anus?

Hey there. I m Ryan, I m 34. I have an awkward question. I recently within the last week noticed I have the smallest little bump (almost like a pimple) on the outside of my anus... it s not necessarily hard, when I touch it, I can make it almost go away... & at times like now, it s not even noticeable/there. It doesn t hurt, maybe the slightest little pain sometimes when I go to the bathroom... but not really. Is this something I should be concerned about or will it possibly go away on it s own? I put a little cortizone10 on it. Is there anything else I can do to help? I ve been keeping it clean. Is there a possibility it s just like a pimple or something?

Your symptom points toward folliculitis like anal skin infection. Topical antibiotic cream can be applied. Keep anal area clean and dry. Your proctoscopy rectal examination is advisable to rule out piles problem. Avoid excess spicy foods intake. I suggest you to consult surgeon for examination.
