Hi,

Muscle aches may occur due to too much anxiety, stress, physical activity, lack of rest & sleep.

Myalgia may result when the body is not replenished with adequate nutrients, minerals & due to disturbed electrolyte balance, infection, chronic illness, side effects of medications.

Stay away from addictions if any. These can be symptoms of the early stage of fibromyalgia, thyroid dysfunction, hypokalaemia, etc.

Visit ER, get physically examined & get all tests done to detect the pathology causing it. Maintain proper posture, do regular exercises, maintain healthy body weight.

You can take cold & warm compress alternately in the areas affected to get rid of pain. Take Acetaminophen(Tylenol), Combiflam, Naproxen, etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
