What Causes A Red Rash On The Wrist After Receiving Iron Infusions?

i had iron infusions and got a reddish purple patch on my left wrist. I assumed it was from the infusion but in the last month or so my thumbs have been turning red and purplish from the wrist and to the top of my thumbs. Should I be concerned? I ve noticed tiny spider veins on my thumbs and the purple patch as well

hello..this may be due to one of the side effect of iron infusion that is rash. But you should visit your doctor once to confirm about the allergy. Hope you get better.
