What Causes A Smelly Bile Secretion?

I have a port draining my gallbladder into a bag. I m supposed to have the gallbladder removed in a month. The last couple of weeks I have noticed that the bile has a very strong odor like dead fish. I m worried that it is an infection. I have no other symptoms. I do not have a fever and I am not nauseous or having diarrhea. Do I have anything to worry about?

Your query and concern highly appreciated, I red the given history here, but you have not mentioned from where you felt the odor, second just bad odor is not the indication neither it proves that it is the smell coming from the gallbladder or it is the bile odor, of course you must be having bad odor and it could be due to infection but it may not be due to gallbladder or bile.
If this is the infection then of course it is matter of worry, other symptoms are equally important but you have not mentioned it here, underlying cause of bad odor and the site is matter of concern.
