Hi-over the last 2 days, I noticed a soreness under my tongue. It would come and go, then if I ate pretzels, my entire mouth felt like it was burning. It would go awaye, then come back during eating sometimes. My frenulum is swollen and very tender. What s going on? Have never had allergic reactions to anything. I think I might have a yeast infection...I have alot of candida...can that be part of the problem?
thanks for your query, the soreness under the tongue could be because of recurrent aphthous ulcers or it can be traumatic ulcer also or it can be an inflammed salivary gland duct opening near the floor of the mouth..consult your oral physician to rule out these things and you can take topical anesthetics and analgesics.. i hope my answer will help you.. take care..
