i just recently experienced a sharp paon that felt as tho someone stuck a burning stick into my eye. the the pain went into my head. i covered my head and got the head to ease. my eye now feels like there is a bruise. what happened and why? what should i do?

It appears to be neuralgic headache.
But before that glaucoma should be excluded by measuring IOP & getting auto perimetery done.
If everything comes normal, one should take paracetamol tabs sos only.
