What Causes A Varying Fever With Sore Throat, Cough And Runny Nose?

Illness I am a 18 y/o male, im 6.0ft and about 245lbs. I have been sick for the last 3 days. I have had soar throat, cough, stuffy/runny nose, and a fever (100.0-103.5F). My bp is 124/75, hr 112, o2 saturation 99% on room air. My fever keeps going down to 98-99F but then raises back up to 100-102.9F. I hav been taking 2 tabs ibuprofen 200mg for fever and soar throat. 2 tsp childrens dimatap for cold and cough for cough. And saline nasal spray for nasal congestion. Also 2day my lumbar spine was hurting in certain positions and so is my upper stomach. I think its because of the coughing. Im thinkin i need to see my doc on monday, but i was wondering if u could help so i dont have to spend the $.

Hello
As far as concerned about BP ,heart rate, oxygen level all are within normal range. Sore throat , cough , running nose , fever all may be due to flu or viral fever .
Ibuprofen 400 mg is sufficient for fever with syrup for cold.
Usually fever in subsides within 7-10 days , so wait till and tylenol ( paracetamol 500 mg twice in day is sufficient.
As you are also having running nose , cough so you might have some sort of allergy so please also take monteleukast=levocetrizine twice in day ( tablets ).
Hot saline gargles also help in such cases.
