What Causes Abdomen And Stomach Pains?

hi, I just had a medical abortion about 3 weeks ago and got the depo shot immediantly after,i have had unprotected sex after the shot. a couple days ago I was having sharp pains in my abdomen and upper stomach, it didnt last for to long but I was curious to what it might be.

Noted the history of medical abortion followed by a Depo shot immediately after, had unprotected sex. There was pain in the abdomen and upper stomach after a few days which did not last for too long, want to know the cause.
If the pains were in the upper abdomen, the most probable cause can be gastritis or gastrointestinal upset. This can occur after the Depo shot as its direct side effect.
I would advise you to take a PPI like Omeprazole and antacid and see the results.
Avoid all the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance such problems.
Have soft bland diet and rest for a few days.
