What Causes Abdomen Pain, Bloating And Acidity?

I have mild lower right abdomen pain. Bloating and strong hunger pangs even sometimes when I have just eaten. Sometims trapped wind on left side. Pain seems to move around. Often swallowing at night and also feel better stood up than laid down. I was prescribed Lansoprazole a year ago but without any tests being done. It helped before but I have been taking it 6 days this time and am no better.

Hello,

Some advice that I can give to you is:

- Take Simethicone medication for the bloating
- Avoid chewing gum
- Limit your intake of carbonated drinks
- Avoid foods that cause gas, such vegetables in the cabbage family, dried beans, and lentils
- Eat slowly and avoid drinking through a straw
- Use lactose-free dairy products (if you are lactose intolerant)

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
