What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Fever After Having Food?

Yes sir, my wife, 62 years old, white, 110 pounds, no none medical history, no meds, normally healthy. For the past five or six months she has gotten more and more sickly. It seems that every time she eats any food, this includes soft diet foods, her stomach swells and she starts running a fever. She has normal bowel movements and empties her kidneys regularly with no odor or problems.

Dentist 's  Response
Hi,

It is due to inflammatory bowel disease which precipitates on taking foods.

We need to do her investigations like ultrasound, stool test and ECG. However, before that, I suggest you give her antibiotic coverage of Ofloxacin-Ornidazole and also Pantoprazole.

You will start digestive syrup. If symptoms continue to report to the emergency room.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
