What Causes Abdominal Cramping And Nausea?

I have had abdominal cramping and stools that very from watery to very very soft for almost 2 months. They are brown in color but the water turns bright yellow. It looks like I have urinated. Occasionally I have nausea associated with it. 4 times in the last 2 months I have become severely nauseated and vomited only once and then felt better.

Hi thanks for asking question.

You have diarrhea since long duration.
So first do your stool examination.
Stool might show pus cells suggest shigella like infection.Antibiotic needed for it.
If stool show ameba or giardia like parasite treated accordingly....

Stool culture can be done to rule out cholera or other possible chronic bacterial infection.

Rule out HIV and hyperthyroidism like condition.

If still cause not clear colonoscopy might needed for further diagnostic work up for crohns disease, microscopic colitis, lympgocytic colitis, tuberculous lesion etc...

I hope your concern solved...

Take care.
Maintain hydration...
