What Causes Abdominal Pain And Bloating?

Hello, I’m a 65 yr old female. I’ve been experiencing pain in the middle of my stomach. Diarrhea after eating. The pain is uncomfortable and is right under my rib cage in the middle. I’m always feeling bloated.

I’m sorry, I didn’t realize there’s a charge. I’ll contact my PCP. Thank you.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The pain is related to the bloating.
Some suggestions about the treatment are;
-Use Simethicone medication
-Use Buscopan for the pain
- Limit your intake of carbonated drinks.
-Avoid foods that cause gas, such vegetables in the cabbage family, dried beans, and lentils
-Eat slowly and avoid drinking through a straw
-Use lactose-free dairy products

Hope I have answered your query.
