Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good Afternoon, I am a 48 year old female who is experiencing excruciating pain around my upper abdomen. for the past 2 days i have had diarrhea with the feeling of nausea, i know gas can be a little painful but this takes the cake. Its happening like every 15-20 min where is feels like some is taking the upper part of my stomach and just twisting in a knot to where it cause to stop and bend over and it actually hurts to walk, please help
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, I had gone through the history given here and I can say that it is the pain due to acid peptic disease, in other word it seems to be hyperacidity and some time it is associated with dyspepsia, I would like to advise to change the diet, stop heavy meal, spicy meal, high density fat containing diet, coffee, alcohol these all should be avoided prior to bed. If I would be doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 20 mg once in day and it needs to be continued for three weeks. hope this information helps
