What Causes Abdominal Pain, Vomiting And Diarrhea After Taking Tetanus Shot?

I am a fifty two year old white female and yesterday after work I had to go to our local hospital to get my right ear lobe repaired due to my earring tearing it the whole way down the lobe . The doctor glued it and gave me a tetanus shot too. Hours after that I was awakened by severe pain in my abdomen and extreme pressure in my abdomen, shortly followed by hours of vomiting and diarrhea. I finally seemed to have an empty stomach about an hour ago so I tried to drink something and turns out it made me throw up some more. I finally found a drink that would stay down so far and ate two pieces of toast and a can of chicken noodle soup about a half an hour ago and so far so good. I also have broken blood vessels in my left eye I assume from vomiting. How worried should I be? I feel a little better now.
