What Causes Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With A Grade 3 Varicocele?
good afternoon i have grade 3 Varicolecele on left side now had foer 3 weeks been for loads of tests ultra sound ,blood test urine tests, i have a pain in my lower abdomain on left side 2/3 inches below my belly button justy a mild dull ache mostly there all day better at night ,gets worse if i standa lot ,my question is this connected ? when i look at other forums some people mention this same pain ,my father suffered very badley with varacaois viens in his legs Thanks
Varicocele is dilation of the veins in the scrotum. The venous drainage from the testicles on the left side is different from right side veins. Left side veins ascend up to kidney level, therefore venous stasis leads to venous congestion and dilation because of gravity forces when a person is in a vertical position.
Improvement in your condition during night is self-explanatory that venous drainage improves when you are in a horizontal position.
Varicocele is caused by vein problems and should be repaired in your case. It may affect sperm production.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Malik

What Causes Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With A Grade 3 Varicocele?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The pain seems highly associated with varicocele. Malik
