I had ultrasound done doctors didn t find anything, before that I had crystal in my urine, recently doc had a look at another urine sample and doc said I have blood in it, doc think the pain is from kidney stones? Please can you give your opinion?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. The basic cause of pain in abdomen on both sides and now in lower abdomen looks to be due to colitis as per the history you have given and the secondary effect may be hemorrhoids for which you are being treated. I would advise you the following in such a situation: First of all, consult a Gastroenterologist for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations. Stool test for three consecutive days, helps for a proper evaluation. Tests of blood, particularly for CBC, liver and thyroid functions. Colonoscopy and biopsy. All these would help to get a proper cause for pain in abdomen and hemorrhoids. HemorroHemorroids ma need an active treatment with bandind or surgery as would the case be.
