What Causes Abdominal Pulsations?

I recently moved some household items and now have some abdominal pulsations that come and go suddenly. When they come I try to press my hand over the affected area and it seems to go away, but I am uneasy about this. Can this be hernia? I never had it before

K 1st let me clarify abdominal pulsations may be various reasons common causes are aortic aneurysm, for that I need ur age and risk factors like cigarette smoking diabetes dyslipedemia etc othe few causes are emphysema and intestinal obstruction for which I need your detailed history age and exact duration with all risk factors .IF it is very recent amd u dnt have any riskfactora what I discussed above ,thn just let me know ur BMI bcoz in lean body mass pulsations are usually prominent .And if those pulsations are causing a problem thn plz consult a cardiologist first if tht is normal thn othr causes to be ruled out ...hope this information helps u ...thank you
