What Causes Abnormal Hair Growth When Using Dianette Or Ginet 84?

Hi, I'm using the pill Ginet 84 - I had previously been using Dianette back in Ireland and since coming to NZ the doctor prescribed me with Ginet 84 and said it's the same thing. The main reason I was using Dianette to beging with was for abnormal hair growth and I don't know whether it's just in my head or not but since using Ginet 84 for the last 2 months I feel like the hair growth is high again. On both packets it looks to be the same stuff in both - how is this happening ? Thanks in advance ! Stacey

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Both have same compositions with same dosage if you are feeling so you can always go back to pervious medication. It can be due to hormonal changes due to change in habitat and new place. Also, you should check for PCOD and have an ultrasound.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Richa Agarwal, OBGYN
