What Causes Abnormal Stool?

Alright, this is a question about a sensitive subject. I noticed over the last few weeks that there has been something noticably different occuring with my stool. every other day i seem to have developed some noticable amounts of mucus and even occasionally there seems to be a single thread like object which is about the same thickness of a stick of .7 graphite. not sure if it's parasites or what, but i just need an idea of what to expect. I have no stomach issues, no pains, aiches, but i think my paranoia is making it feel like there's something wrong with how noticable this tranformation was. however, there are instances where i have to check if there are any other systems and i noticed there are times where my stool has the scent of diarhea even though it was perfectly solid. also, whenever i go to wipe, it seels oddly challenging to get everything off. it's like no matter how many times i try, it's just not working right away. again, i know i need to see a doc., i'm just trying to get some sort of idea before i go into the office
