What Causes Abnormal Stools And Stomach Cramps During Defecation?

Hello, Lately I have noticed a change in my bowel movements. I am a usually healthy 77 year old female taking NO medication. My stools started looking kind of thin and ribbon like. Also I started having severe cramps when having a B M. Every thing ok after BM. That has been going on for a few months. Three days ago I started having severe cramps and fever all day. Every time the cramps started I had to have a bowel movement. The stool looks rather soft and only about a teaspoon or less empties at a time. My lower abdomen is very sore to the touch.

At this age with this symptoms I want you to investigate for few tests like a complete hemogram,ultrasound abdomen and a simple urine routine examination with ESR and CRP .With this rports kindly consult a gastroenterologist if any abnormalities found he wil treat you accordingly .And looking at your age a screening colonoscopy should be done .
Now I wil come to your symptoms with what you are suffering from it may be a simple food poisoning ,if history is more than 3 month's then it can be a irritable bowel syndrome .Some how I wil orescribe some good medications so that your symptoms will reduce more than 90 %.
Tab XXXX mg twice a day for 14 days
Tab XXXXtwice a day aftrr food
cap XXXX twice a day ,with this treatment you wil feel better ..thank you .
