What Causes Accumulation Of Insulin In Adipose Tissue?

Hi. A question about abdominal insulin injection. A patient, f, 65 yrs, type I, suffers from insulin accumulation in subcutanous adipose tissue. Regardless the strict diet, adip. tissue seems to grow and stowage seems to establish over days, followed by sudden and uncontrolled release of stowed insulin leading to immediate hypoglycamia. Very few literature available on the issue. Any advice? Thank you. C.

Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear Sir/ Madam
The answer to your problem is site rotation. i mean daily change the site where you inject insulin. Normally we advise taking morning dose insulin in the tummy 2cms away from umbilicus. give one finger distance between every injection site. Night dose we prefer in the lateral aspect of thigh. I am very confident that proper technique will surely help you. Yes as you rightly said very little information is available on the most important topics...
Hope i have given you a practical suggestion..
