What Causes Acid Reflux And Headaches?

Hello. I have been sick on and off for about 2 months now. I have had strep, head colds and the flu. I have also experienced acid reflux, bloating, feeling tired, headaches, dizzinesss, and frequency of urination. When I went to the doctors they tested me for UTI but it came back negative and they told me I had BV, but when I took the medication it never went away. Do you have any clue what could be wrong with me?

Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
The main reasons that cause acid reflux are:
-Eating large meals or lying down right after a meal
-Being overweight or obese
-Eating a heavy meal and lying on your back or bending over at the waist
-Snacking close to bedtime
-Eating certain foods, such as citrus, tomato, chocolate, mint, garlic, onions, or spicy or fatty foods
-Drinking certain beverages, such as alcohol, carbonated drinks, coffee, or tea
-Taking aspirin, ibuprofen
So I suggest you to eleminate this triggers.
Antacids, such as Maalox can neutralize the acid from your stomach.
