Hi,

Is he vomiting blood? Is he suffering from pain abdomen? What investigations he has undergone and what the Doctors told? Your history is not sufficient to conclude the cause of your problem.

But possible causes for vomiting are acute gastritis or peptic ulcer disease or Esophageal varices or bleeding disorders seen in alcoholic liver disease or gastric outlet obstruction or anaemia etc.

You have to get it done ultrasound abdomen and upper GI scopy. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. if symptoms not improved please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
