i have been vomiting during my sleep, usually it starts approx 3 hours after going to sleep. the acid burns my throat and comes out through my nose. also it makes me wheeze, cough and become breathless which is quite scary. i have to get up and it is really interfering with my sleep.
As you mentioned you have problem of gastroesophageal reflux problem that because of dysfunction of lower esophageal sphincter.. Acid suppression drugs helpful in GERD. Proton pump inhibitor drugs helpful. Avoid cirus food, fatty foods, spicy food, coffe, chocolate..etc.. Eat small amount of meal and chew properly. Avoid lying down immeadiate after eating. Elevate your head during sleeping by two cushion. Consult a gastroenterologist for further treatment.
