I had the stomach virus since christmas i believe its gone because of no symptoms but everytime i eat something my stomach gets gased up and i feel achy then i go to sleep wake up fine? what shall i do? should i go to the doctor?

It seems you have acid peptic disease. PPI (Proton pump inhibitor) like pantoprazole orally may give relief and tried first.Visit a doctor.
