What Causes Acute Joint Pains In 3 Fingers?

hello im a 25yo male & i have recently began to experiance acute joint pains in 3 fingers. i wake up & my they re so stiff i can barely make a fist for 10min and then they pop as though they re mis-alligned. its affecting my PIP & MCP joints and given how fast it came on(overnight almost) i cant help but deduce that its inflammation from work or possibly a reaction like serum sickness from the nicotine patches, are nicotine patches a sulfa drug? if not, thats ruled out. Any ideas in regards to ddx of most common causes? im no dr. (duh) but i plan to use this advise to help my physician & i focus our efforts towards being efficient.

Hello,

The stiffness in the fingers that you are feeling can be due to arthritis. This can be due to rheumatoid arthritis that needs a specific treatment after few investigations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
