What Causes Agitation And Distress After Stopping Latuda?

My son has schizoaffective disorder and was on latuda until about 1 week ago. He was taking 120 mg. he stopped it because he has been biting his tongue for about a year, and we thought it may have been medication related. The tongue biting has not stopped, and he is becoming agitated and distressed . He also takes remeron and lithium. My question is, can he go back on it at the dose he was at, or does he need to titration up on it . We have 80mg or 120mg on hand.
