This might be one of several things: a syncope is when children faint due to loss of blood supply to the brain for a very, very short duration. It can be harmless, or be due to some internal illnesses of the heart and blood vessels,or of other organs. The second possibility is an attack of breath-holding due to stubbornness - again there are no long term effects of this. The last is - fits - which needs proper therapy from a specialist.
