What Causes Anal Bleeding In Case Of Hemorrhoids?

Hiya i've been bothered with piles for the past few weeks due to straining going to the loo. I have Ibs too. Went to the doctor and she gave me cream to use, but its still there and uncomfortable. Tonight i went to the loo to pass a motion and nothing happened, i wiped myself and there was a blood clot about the size of a maltezer, i'm not bleeding as i keep checking, what could it be ?

Hello,

How old are you? Since when you're suffering from the above problem? What is the stool consistency? Due to constipation, you are suffering from hemorrhoids or fissure.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Eat a high fiber diet, regular exercise. If symptoms not improved, use syrup lactulose thirty ml at night for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
